Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cook College at Rutgers University in Ecology & Natural Resource Management and a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment. Angela is passionate about community-based environmental management and she has explored this concept in the Atherton Tablelands of Australia, at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, at school in Durham, North Carolina and in her own backyard in New Jersey.

Prior to joining the New Jersey Water Supply Authority as a Watershed Protection Specialist, Angela worked for six years as Raritan Headwaters’ Water Quality Program Manager coordinating their robust citizen science stream monitoring program and large-scale stream cleanup program. Angela also has experience in environmental education after serving as an AmeriCorps New Jersey Watershed Ambassador at Union County Parks and Recreation for Watershed Management Area 7 and worked as an environmental educator at Schiff Natural Lands Trust in Mendham. Angela is currently involved with projects related to the River Friendly Business Program, aquatic invasive species management and the Lockatong and Wickecheoke Creek Watersheds Restoration and Protection Plan at the Authority.

Angela loves to experience the outdoors on her kayak, travel locally and abroad, listen to live music and get lost in a good book.
